Baltic, Connecticut — 19th December — A reported structure fire in the 60 block of Bushnell Hollow Road prompted the Baltic Fire Engine Co. #1, located at 22 Bushnell Hollow Road, to react with a first-alarm assignment. When C54 came first, they verified that there was a fire in the house's living room.

ET-124 crews and Lisbon Fire Department personnel extended two handlines and swiftly put out the fire. After that, firefighters performed overhaul operations to secure the structure and look for extensions. The Baltic assignment stayed on the scene until the Baltic Fire Marshal arrived. Scotland, Taftville, Occum, Yantic, and American Ambulance all offered assistance to one another. There were no reports of occupant or response personnel injuries.
