PATERSON, NJ - On December 18, 2023, the volunteer departments of Totowa, West Paterson and Little Falls, along with Wayne Fire and the Passaic County Sheriff's Dept. with Salomone Bros. of Wayne, NJ, delivered 2,000 donated gifts to the Chidlren's Hospital at St. Joseph's in Paterson.

All the toys and gifts were collected in conjunction with the Holiday Parade of Lights that took place in November. The decorated, lighted vehicles and fire apparatus from nearby towns involved in the event paraded through the city to the hospital with Mr. and Mrs. Claus; the procession was displayed at the entrance where Santa met the staff and so many children. They gave out gifts and even visited more children inside on the upper floors of the hospital.
