On the evening of December 12, Rumney Fire Department members attended a graduation ceremony honoring the completion of the Fire Fighter 1 class that was held at the station this autumn. After completing the course successfully, students received diplomas and recognition for their dedication.

Firefighters Heather Adey-Merrithew, Jeff Lanaville, Jason Stone, and Rebekah Crane were congratulated on finishing the roughly 200-hour training course. Members were trained for emergency response and fireground operations. The Rumney Fire Department also recognized the spouses and families of the graduates, emphasizing their support plays a key role in allowing firemen to train and respond to crises.
