The annual Santa Run by the Charlestown Richmond Fire Department is scheduled for next Saturday, December 20, starting at around 10:00 a.m. While firefighters spread holiday cheer around the city, Santa will ride fire department vehicles into nearby communities. As Santa travels by, residents are urged to keep an eye out for flashing lights, listen for sirens, and go outside to wave. The department stated that depending on the circumstances, routes may alter. CRFD expressed gratitude to the community for their ongoing support and said they hope to see everyone during this long-standing holiday custom.
