Providence, R.I. — December 8, 2025 —For the Ward 15 Christmas Tree Lighting, Providence Canteen 1 was in operation at the Steven M. Shaw Police Substation on Webster Avenue at around 16:45.

Members provided warm support throughout the community event by serving hot chocolate and hot coffee to participants on this chilly evening. During the celebrations, the canteen detail assisted citizens, organizers, and public safety personnel. J1P/CP Special Signal Fire Association/Providence Canteen handled the detail, carrying on the organisation's mission to promote public safety and community events throughout the city.
