West Greenwich, R.I. — December 3 —Members of West Greenwich Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 practiced man versus machines scenarios in the evening. To practice responding to situations involving machinery, crews used training props. The session included discussion and hands-on practice involving snow blower incidents, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and ring removal operations. Members reviewed scene safety, patient stabilization, and proper tool use to safely mitigate these incidents.
