Fire Reported at Waste Disposal Facility in Brea

Brea, CA - On December 14th at 9:09PM a vegetation fire was reported on the 19000 block of Tonner Canyon in the city of Brea. After investigation it was discovered that the actual fire was on the top of the hill at the City Waste Disposal facility. When units arrived they reported a large area of waste on fire. Fire units from Brea, Fullerton and Los Angeles County extinguished the blaze utilizing LA County’s Water Tender.
