On December 13th at 8:20 pm the Whitehall fire Department was dispatched for an apartment building fire at Fairmount Place Apartments on 1 maryland circle in Whitehall Township. Police arrived on the scene and had fire showing from a first floor apartment, Then the police started to evacute the building. The fire ended up going to 4 alarms with numerous fire and EMS units redponding from Lehigh and Northampton Counties. A Mass casualties incident was declared due to the amount residents requiring care. The American Red Cross is assisting the residents of the complex displaced by the fire.
