Wrong-Way Driver Incident on US 22/30 Prompts 911 Reminder

North Fayette, PA - On Sunday, March 29 at approximately 20:46 hours, a wrong-way driver is believed to have entered US 22 near the 576 interchange and continued eastbound in the westbound lanes. The vehicle later collided with another car between McKee Road and the Hankey Farms exit in North Fayette Township.


Fortunately, the incident resulted in no significant injuries to those involved. Authorities expressed gratitude that multiple callers reported the wrong-way driver, allowing law enforcement to respond quickly and attempt interception as the vehicle’s location was continuously updated in real time.
