December 7, 2025 — Volunteers from the Barren Hill Fire Company had the honor of assisting Rabbi Ettman and Congregation Or Ami in Lafayette Hill during a Hanukkah celebration earlier today, helping spread gelt to children attending the party.
Using the company’s tower ladder, firefighters delighted the crowd as gelt was showered down from above, bringing smiles and laughter to the children below. Members said it was a joy to take part in the celebration and see the excitement on the kids’ faces.
The fire company thanked Congregation Or Ami for the invitation and the opportunity to be part of a meaningful and festive community event.
