Engine 63 Assists at Multi-Residence Fire During Mutual Aid Response

Roselle, N.J. — November 17 — Three homes were involved in a fourth-alarm structure fire in Roselle, and Kenilworth Engine 63 was called in to provide mutual aid. Engine 63 was tasked with suppression operations upon arrival and extended a handline inside one of the impacted residences. The attic division was fully involved when crews met severe fire conditions. Coordinating with other agencies on the site, firefighters tried to confine and quell the fire. Before being sent to Roselle Fire Headquarters to offer coverage for further situations, Engine 63 stayed dedicated to fireground operations for over an hour. Throughout the protracted situation, the engine remained operational, guaranteeing ongoing response capability.
