East Petersburg, PA - On 11/27/17 at 10:26 P.M., the East Petersburg Fire Co., along with numerous mutual companies were dispatched to Miller Rd. in the E. Petersburg Borough for a dwelling fire. Chief 23 arrived to a two-story, single-family dwelling with heavy fire showing on side "Charlie", and extended into the Division 2 and the attic. With multiple crews operating and conditions deteriorating, Command called for the EVAC tones and asked for the Working Fire dispatch. Truck 23 (East Petersburg) and Truck 67 (Rohrerstown) went into master stream operations and knocked down the bulk of fire. At that point, crews re-entered the structure to finish fire suppression and extensive salvage and overhaul. The last units left the scene at 2:51 A.M.
