LETTERS TO SANTA PROGRAM IS BACK AT HAMMONTON FIRE CO.2

This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

Hammonton, NJ - Got a Christmas list? We'll make sure Mr. Claus knows all about it! Stop by the Hammonton Independent Volunteer Fire Company No. 2 and mail your letter to Santa! When it comes to Christmas wishes, it’s always smart to put them in writing. Children are invited to drop off their letters to Santa at our station in Hammonton until December 15th. This is the 4th year we have partnered with the North Pole Fire Department to get children’s letters directly to Santa! Postage is not required on children’s letters, as they are given directly to our fellow firefighters in the North Pole. Our dedicated volunteers will collect the letters which are deposited in the large red mailbox at the front of the fire station, and get them efficiently to Santa. Santa will be sending out replies to all of the letters he receives! It is important that each letter has a legible name and return address so that Santa knows where to send his reply. In order to receive a reply by Christmas, please drop off the letter by Dec. 15th. Santa is very busy this time of year. If you can’t drop off your letter until after Dec. 15th, you may not receive his reply until after Christmas. The Hammonton Independent Volunteer Fire Company, No. 2 is located at 51 N. White Horse Pike in Hammonton, NJ. The drop off mailbox is a large red USPS regulation sized mailbox located in the front of the property with appropriate signage and lighting. As we are an active fire station, we ask that visitors avoid blocking the apparatus doors and or parking in designated firefighter parking. There is no cost to participate in this program, including return postage from the North Pole. As always, donations are never expected but always appreciated.
