Berkley, MA — November 14 — Dispatcher Emma Rioux has been appointed to a full-time position with the Berkley Police Department, and Berkley Fire & Rescue is celebrating her. Since 2023, Rioux has worked as a part-time dispatcher and has obtained qualifications in CJIS requirements, Emergency Medical Dispatch, and 911 operations.
Her elevation closes a gap left by a recent retirement. Since joining the team, Rioux has been a notable contributor due to her professionalism and community knowledge, according to the department.
