Fall River, Ma. Shortly before 7;00 pm. firefighters responded to 878 / 886 Cambridge Street, a three story, six family dwelling for a working fire. The first arriving company had smoke showing from the roof and declared a working fire. Command arrived and immediately called for an additional pump to respond to the scene. Residents were reporting smoke on all floors and embers were seen coming from the utility chase. Firefighters quickly knocked down the fire and began overhaul. Approximately sixteen people had to seek shelter from the Red Cross and relatives as the power was cut to the building.
