Bristol Fire Welcomes New Probationary Firefighter

The Bristol Board of Fire Commissioners has sworn in Probationary Firefighter Nicholas Boswell, who joins the department as a certified firefighter after previously serving with the Torrington Fire Department. Officials welcomed Boswell to the agency, noting that his prior experience will support continued service to the community.

The board also acknowledged Lieutenant Brian Wilkinson for his service as a Fellow with the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. His services to the organization led to his employment as the NFFF Region I Advocate Manager, supporting fire department outreach activities across Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Department officials recognized Lt. Wilkinson for his continued commitment to firefighter health and safety efforts and congratulated him on the honor.
