Memorial Scholarship Fund Supports Life-Saving Equipment

The Heather Bailey Memorial Scholarship Fund has donated $2,870.38 to the Bristol Fire Department so they can buy a new automated external defibrillator (AED). According to the department, the new tool will improve its capacity to offer early cardiac care in times of medical emergency.
Fire officials expressed appreciation for the support and stated that community relationships continue to play an essential role in enhancing public safety resources. The department commended the fund’s organizers and sponsors for helping strengthen life-saving skills in Bristol.
