West Paterson Structure Fire Held to One Alarm

WOODLAND PARK, NJ - On the afternoon of December 1st, first responders were called to the scene of a structure fire at 11 Rose Place.

West Paterson Engine 3, Truck 2 and Engine 1 with Car 11 (IC) and Car 12 were dispatched to a working fire. First due companies knocked down an outside fire involving a porch that extended up the Exposure 'C' side of the structure to the roof. At approximately 12:30 P.M., companies arrived on scene to find smoke showing and fire spreading up the rear of a two-story dwelling.

All searches of the home were negative, and all occupants were evacuated by firefighters. The fire was placed under control in about 40 minutes. Crews remained on the scene with extensive overhaul.
