Rumney, NH — November 11 — Rumney Fire Department, located at 59 Depot Street, took a moment to commemorate Veterans Day and pay tribute to those who have served in the US military. Many firemen and emergency medical technicians bring significant experience from their time in uniform, and the fire service has a long history of ties to the military. Every day, community safety is supported by abilities including calm decision-making, teamwork, and leadership.

Long after their military service is over, veterans in New Hampshire continue to serve the public and safeguard their neighbors, according to the department.
