Littleton, NH — November 9 — Department On Sunday, Littleton Fire Rescue, located at 230 West Main Street, provided mutual aid to the Lisbon Fire Department in response to a first-alarm "smoke in the building" call at 21 South Main Street in Lisbon. Smoke was observed on the second and third levels of the three-story, six-unit home, prompting the dispatch of Ladder 1 and Car 1.

Firefighters from Littleton helped inside crews identify the source, which turned out to be a broken appliance. After confirmation, smoke levels eased, and workers made sure the building's residents were safe. There were no reported injuries or fire damage. As units worked well to clear the area and restore the building to normal conditions, Acting Duty Officer Piscitelli kept the incident commander informed.
