Baldwin County Fire Rescue Highlights Months of Advanced Training and Achievements

November 20, 2025 - Baldwin County Fire Rescue, in partnership with the Baldwin County Board of Commissioners, announced significant training accomplishments following several busy months at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center. Numerous staff members successfully completed specialized courses designed to strengthen operational readiness, leadership capabilities, and community risk reduction efforts. Firefighter Dylan Amerson completed Fire and Life Safety Educator training, Pressurized Container Fire Control, Life Safety Code, Leadership in Public Safety Theory and Practice, and Principles and Practices of Fire Inspections. Firefighter Xavier Burnett and Firefighter Jesse Blount completed Structural Fire Control, while Firefighters Clyde Lawrence and Dalton Reed successfully completed Water Mapping. Lieutenant Nathan Cole completed Fire and Life Safety Educator training, and Lieutenant Jesse Law completed training in Flammable and Combustible Liquids Incidents as well as Acting Officer in Charge. Captain Shep Davis completed courses in Fire Department Supervision and Transitional Interpersonal Leadership. Additionally, Firefighter Donald Vaughn achieved SDI Open Water Diver certification. Baldwin County Fire Rescue also shared that nine team members are currently enrolled in the NPQ Firefighter 2 program, expected to be completed in approximately four weeks. The department congratulates all personnel for their dedication to growth, safety, and professional excellence.
