GMC Kindergarten Class Learns Fire Safety

Oct. 25, 2025 — Baldwin County Fire Rescue, in partnership with the Baldwin County Board of Commissioners and Georgia Military College, spent the day teaching fire safety to GMC’s kindergarten students. The department’s educator, inspector, training officer, and on-duty crew provided an interactive program where children learned important safety practices, met firefighters, explored fire trucks, and enjoyed the always-popular activity of spraying water.
Officials emphasized the value of introducing safety education early and expressed appreciation to GMC for inviting them to engage with the students.
