Nov. 26, 2025 — Baldwin County Fire Rescue, in coordination with the Baldwin County Board of Commissioners, announced with deep sorrow the recovery of the body of Jeffrey Epps at approximately 4:14 p.m. on Nov. 26. Officials expressed profound gratitude to the more than 200 volunteers, along with numerous public safety and law enforcement agencies, whose unwavering efforts over several days brought closure to this difficult search.
The department respectfully asks that the privacy of the Epps family be honored as they navigate this heartbreaking loss. Community members are encouraged to keep the family in their thoughts and prayers during this challenging time.
