Early-Morning Blaze in Providence Draws Full Fire and EMS Response

PROVIDENCE, RI - At 3:10 a.m. on November 20th, the Special Signal Fire Association dispatched Canteen 4 to a second-alarm fire on Althea Street in Providence. Crews were working on two structures: an empty building that was completely involved and a nearby three-story occupied building. Canteen personnel gave hydration and supplies to rehab patients while fire and EMS units worked until the early morning hours. All canteen activities were completed once the necessities were met.
