October 30, 2025 — Station 2 crews from Hardee County Fire Rescue spent the day at East Side Academy, giving students an up-close look at their fire truck, tools, and protective gear.
During the visit, firefighters shared several important fire safety tips and answered questions from students excited to learn more about the work first responders do. The department thanked the school’s staff and students for their warm welcome, noting that it is always a pleasure to engage with the community’s future firefighters.
