November 21, 2025 — Hardee County Fire Rescue has released the first look at its new Tanker 3, a 4,000-gallon mobile water supply unit that will soon serve the Bowling Green area. The new tanker will enhance firefighting capabilities by providing a substantial water source for incidents in areas without immediate hydrant access, strengthening overall service across the community.
The acquisition was made possible through State of Florida appropriations. Hardee County Fire Rescue expressed its appreciation to Senator Ben Albritton, Representative Kaylee Tuck, the Hardee County Board of County Commissioners, and Team Hardee for their ongoing support and commitment to improving emergency services countywide.
The department noted that Tanker 3 represents a significant investment in public safety and will play a vital role in future fire suppression operations.
