Mutual Aid Assignment Sends Engine 3 to Shawnee Station 1

Cambria, NY — November 17 — Cambria Fire Company was summoned at 8:21 p.m. to fill in for Shawnee Volunteer Fire Company, which was responding to a working fire in its area. Cambria Engine 3, under the supervision of Chief McIntyre, responded to Shawnee Station 1 to provide station coverage while local crews remained on the scene.
Mutual aid helps departments provide continuous service and ensure emergency response capacity throughout the region. While Shawnee troops controlled fireground operations, Cambria firefighters were ready to respond to any further calls in the district.
