Cambria, NY — November 10 — Cambria Fire Company was dispatched at 8:31 a.m. to a motor vehicle accident involving an automobile and a bus. Chief McIntyre led the response, which included M-10, Engine 3, and the department's ambulance. Because of the quantity of passengers on the bus, Niagara County EMS 21 and Car 12 were also dispatched to assist.
Firefighters and EMTs assessed everyone on the scene, and no injuries were reported. Units ran for a short time to ensure road safety and clear automobiles from the travel lane. All teams had cleared the location just after 9:00 a.m. For safety reasons, cars should not drive around fire or EMS trucks that are obstructing the traffic.
