Niagara Falls, NY — November 17 — This week, the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station 914th Fire Department used mutual-aid agreements to react to two working fires. Around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 13, Adams Fire Company requested Engine 8 and Chief 2 to go to a residence fire. The crew was initially designated as the FAST but was rapidly put to work, assisting with suppression and ventilation efforts.

The next evening, soon after 8 p.m., Engine 8 and Chief 2 responded to Sanborn for a working barn fire. Sanborn's Chief described a richly complicated building with numerous exposures. NFARS firefighters participated with the fire assault and remained on the scene for several hours.
