COEYMANS HOLLOW, N.Y. — Nov. 19 —Coeymans Hollow Volunteer Fire Corp. accomplished an important milestone when Firefighter Patrick McCarthy graduated from the Interior Firefighter Operations class. First, Captain Daniel Houghtaling attended the ceremony on behalf of the firm.

Patrick finished three important courses in the last several months: Basic Exterior fireman Operations, Firefighter Self-Rescue, and Interior Firefighter Operations, obtaining full qualification as CHVFC's newest interior fireman. Members and officers praised him and recognized his dedication to assisting the community during critical situations. The business reminded citizens that training and preparation are ongoing 24/7/365, both inside the district and while aiding neighboring departments.
