On November 18, 2025, Quarryville Fire Company volunteers returned to SA Kreider Farms to continue hands-on grain bin training. With several large grain-handling facilities located throughout the district, firefighters dedicated the evening to reviewing bin construction, stored materials, safety systems, operational hazards, and the challenges these structures present during fire or rescue incidents. Crews also evaluated equipment capabilities and limitations when operating in and around agricultural storage sites. The department extends its appreciation to all members who participated and to those who coordinated this critical preparedness training.
