November 7, 2025 — Full Hackensack Fire Department reported that members of the Second Platoon operated on Route 80 East this evening for a vehicle fire. Upon arrival, firefighters secured the scene, deployed a hoseline, and extinguished the burning vehicle.
According to the department, the incident was contained without further complications, and no injuries were reported. Traffic was temporarily impacted while crews worked to ensure roadway safety.
The Hackensack Fire Department thanked its members for their quick response and professionalism during the operation.
