Wet Road Leads to Crash in Colchester

Colchester, CT - At 9:33 A.M. on Monday, November 23rd, the Colchester, Salem and Gardner Lake Fire Departments responded to Route 11 Southbound, south of Exit 6, for a car that struck a tree. Rescue 128 and Engine 121 arrived at 9:45 A.M. reporting a car struck a tree on the left side of the highway. Rescue 128 secured the vehicle while Salem members treated the driver and his son, who had both self-extricated. Ambulance 527 transported two male patients with minor injuries to Backus Hospital in Norwich.
