Station 42 Joins Community for Carbon Monoxide Safety Seminar

Long Pond, PA — 9 November — Participating in a carbon monoxide safety seminar at the Lake Naomi Club Community Centre was Department Tunkhannock Twp. Vol. Fire Co. Station 42, 1539 Long Pond Rd, Long Pond, PA. The Community Outreach and Fire Prevention Program at Station 41 hosted the class, which covered CO dangers, alarm preparedness, and home safety for families.

The Lake Naomi and Timber Trails community requested the lecture, which was held in honour of Bill and Ellen Nathan. Firefighters addressed safety concerns, talked about where to put detectors, and went over what to do if a CO alert goes out. At the end of the event, crews went back to work.
