Long Pond, PA — 26th October — On Sunday, Tunkhannock Township Volunteer Fire Company Station 42 responded to a brush fire in the township. Alongside Lake Harmony Fire Company Tanker 17, Brush 42, Brush 42-1, and Tanker 42-1 worked on the spot to prevent the fire from spreading through dry vegetation. To limit the fire and safeguard surrounding residences and wooded areas, crews deployed booster lines and hand tools.
