Truck 1, Deputy Chief Respond to Mall Roof Medical Emergency

Livingston, N.J. — October 29 — Deputy Chief F3 and Truck 1 were dispatched on Wednesday to the Livingston Mall for a medical emergency involving a worker on the roof. Firefighters assisted RWJ Paramedics and removed the injured worker using a Stokes basket.
The patient was brought down safely and transferred to Livingston First Aid for transport to a designated landing zone, which was secured by Livingston Engine 3 and Livingston Police.
Officials said the coordinated response ensured timely medical care and safe removal from the elevated location.
