Livingston, N.J. — October 21— Members of the Livingston Fire Department received “Wildland Fire Training for Structural Firefighters” on Tuesday, led by Todd Saccheiro, Section Forest Fire Warden with the New Jersey Forest Fire Service. The program covered structural hazard classification, vegetation clearance requirements, and forest-fire operations.
The training was held at the Eisenhower Corporate Park Auditorium with support from Eastman Management Corporation.
Chief Mullin noted the timing came just days before the first anniversary of the 2024 “Great Livingston Wildfire,” thanking the Forest Fire Service—and Fire Warden Saccheiro—for their assistance during the wildfire and for providing this instruction.
