Stroudsburg, PA — 11th November — In honour of Veterans Day, Department Blue Ridge Hook and Ladder Fire Co. honoured individuals who have served in the military and those who continue to defend their communities by working in public safety. First responders, firefighters, law enforcement, EMS workers, veterans, and active duty members were acknowledged by the department for their continued commitment.

Members pointed out that a large number of responders had military expertise and discipline, which enhances local emergency services. The department highlighted the intimate relationship between public safety employment and military duty, emphasising the same dedication to serving others.
