Monroeville Crews Aid North Braddock at Duplex Fire

Monroeville, Pa. — October 23 — Monroeville Fire Department Co. #5 responded this afternoon to a second-alarm duplex fire in North Braddock. Engine 51 and Chief 50 were dispatched for the enhanced duty, with Engine 51 responding immediately and staffed by five volunteers.
Firefighters worked on the scene for about two hours before being dismissed by command. While Engine 51 worked the incident, four more Co. #5 volunteers remained in town to cover the station and handle any additional calls.
