Single-Vehicle Rollover Brings Late-Night Response From Station 17

Around 11:30 p.m. on Christmas night, fire and emergency medical services units from Station 17 of the R.W. & Broad Top Fire Company were called to a reported car accident near Trout Road. One person was hurt in a single-vehicle rollover, according to Chief 17. Chief 17 arrived and verified that the car was off the road and that its occupant was not inside. Medic 60 and Rescue 35 were sent to Station 17 to handle the situation. Engine 17 responded with three crew members and helped remove debris, while Rescue 17 responded with five. After assessing the driver, ambulance 17-01 concluded that no transport was required. Pennsylvania State Police, Huntingdon, investigated the collision. Units cleared the scene and returned to service by 1:00 a.m.
