Bradford, Pa. — October 25 — A Shift 3 training session for Bradford City Firefighters, located at 25 Chestnut St. in Bradford, Pennsylvania, concentrated on a single-rescuer approach for rescuing a downed or unconscious person from an immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH) situation. The "dirty drag," a technique used when one fireman must swiftly transport a victim to a safer location before more personnel arrive, was the focus of the rehearsal.

Firefighters worked on grip control, body alignment, and movement patterns that enable them to move steadily in the direction of a refuge. The method is utilised in circumstances with poor vision or confined interior areas and is a typical component of citizen rescue and firefighter survival training in Pennsylvania.
