Newburgh FD responded to reported structure fire on Richmond Ave on November 15th. City/Newburgh Police Responded to scene. Firefighters arrived and started going up
East side of Richmond attempting to locate smell of smoke. Firefighters attempted to enter backyard of 30 Richmond Ave was met by canines in rear yard. Resident answered
door and took canines inside-firefighters discovered a barrel that the resident was burning in. Fire was extinguished FD returned to service.
