Task Force 22 Responds to Fully Involved Garage Fire on Lenz Lane

Berlin Township, N.J. — October 30 —Task Force 22 was dispatched at 9:23 p.m. to the 400 block of Lenz Lane for a reported building fire. The first crews on scene found a garage fully involved in fire. Chief 21-1, Squad 21-1, Quint 21-1, and Engine 21-1 worked on the site. They assisted with putting out the fire, searching the area for hidden flames, and providing support. Mutual-aid companies from nearby departments joined them.
Units from West Berlin Fire-Rescue, Voorhees Fire Department, Lindenwold Fire Department, Pine Hill Fire Department, Waterford Township Fire Department, Evesham Fire-Rescue, Winslow Township Fire Department, and Berlin Township Police Department helped with the operation. Crews stayed on scene until the fire was under control, and then command released all units. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
