AYER, MA - Ayer firefighters arrived to find heavy fire showing from a two-and-a-half-story, multiple-family dwelling in the early morning hours on November 12th.

Companies made an aggressive interior attack, but were drawn out due to heavy fire conditions. Command struck a second-alarm, bringing in multiple mutual aid companies to the fire and to cover the town.

Crews operated one master stream and big hand lines to knock down the main body of fire. Companies re-entered the building and chased hot spots and overhauled.
