Williamson, N.Y. — October 26 — In response to a structure fire on Ridge Road in Sodus on Sunday morning, the Sodus Fire Department received automatic mutual aid from the Williamson Fire Company #1 and the East Williamson Fire Department.

Williamson Truck 8 was assigned to roof operations, where firefighters used powered fans to remove smoke from the building and carried out vertical ventilation. In an effort to minimize property damage, crews also helped with salvage operations on the floor beneath the fire area.
