Marion, N.Y. — October 28 — The new Hurst Rescue equipment that the Marion Fire Department received and trained on will shortly be used with Rescue 41. The equipment represents a significant improvement in the department's technical rescue skills and is renowned for its accuracy and dependability in vehicle extrication.

In order to be prepared when Rescue 41 formally begins service, firefighters spent the evening learning tool operations and safety protocols. The agency expressed gratitude to Municipal Emergency Services (MES) for helping to buy the new, cutting-edge equipment.
