North Merrick, N.Y. — Nov 1: The North Merrick Fire Department responded to Merrick Avenue and Jerusalem Avenue for a report of a pedestrian struck. Upon arrival, crews assessed the patient, who sustained minor injuries. Ambulance 679 transported one individual to Nassau University Medical Center for evaluation.
