Lakeview Firefighters Assist with Parkway Tree Removal

Lakeview, N.Y. — October 30 —On the eastbound Southern State Parkway at Exit 18 (Eagle Avenue), Lakeview Fire Department personnel arrived to help remove a fallen tree. Traffic backed up towards the city line as the fallen tree blocked the right lane, the exit ramp, and a portion of the center lane. To restore traffic flow, firefighters and New York State DOT staff worked together to remove the tree and reopen the road. Nobody was hurt.
