Dayville Tanker 163 Supports High-Volume Water Shuttle Training

Dayville, Conn. — October 20 — Dayville Fire Company’s Tanker 163 took part in a tanker shuttle drill over the weekend during the Connecticut Fire Academy’s Tanker Operations class hosted by the Muddy Brook Fire Department. The exercise supported a continuous water flow of 1,000 GPM for 40 minutes, followed by 1,250 GPM for 20 minutes, totaling roughly 65,000 gallons of water moved. Tanker 163 alone transported about 15,000 gallons during the drill.
