Danbury, Conn. — December 19 —Employees of the City of Danbury gathered Christmas presents for the 135 residents of St. John Paul II Center for the fifth year in a row. The Danbury Fire Marshal's Office organized the yearly gift drive, and donations came from all Danbury city agencies.

The gifts were delivered by Deputy Fire Marshal Heather Anderson and accepted by Director of Recreation Debbie Milczarski and Director of Memory Care Joan Ginty. The Danbury Fire Department acknowledged the ongoing kindness of municipal workers and pointed out that the yearly initiative provides elders in the area with consolation and festive pleasure during the season.
